Epic Moment: Successful Change Management

When something is memorable, it means that it is easily remembered, particularly if it is something special or out of the ordinary. These are experiences which involve anticipation, emotional involvement, and altered perceptions of time – think about how “time flies when you’re having fun,” and they involve a process of doing and undergoing. I recollected one such memorable experience, which I still remember.

Trip Down the Memory Lane: Judhajit & Tania

Turning a boy into a man is one of the hardest things a parent can do. As I look back across the years, so many pictures flash on the memory screen that just as I begin to see one clearly, another slides in, blotting out the first, itself to be pushed aside by the next and the next and the next. Sometimes, I wish I could just rewind back to the old days and press pause… just for a little while. Congratulations on your wedding, dear son! It is not an easy road, but with each other, marriage will be the best thing you’ve ever done.

My Son Met with an Accident: A Fateful Day

June 6, 2021 was a normal day. My son Judhajit went to the hospital in the morning for his duties. He is Medical Officer at the Bhagwan Mahavir Medica Superspecialty Hospital in Ranchi. Around 5 PM, he called his mother that he was coming home and he would have his lunch as he was hungry and he could not get the time for lunch during the day. Who knew it would later become a fateful day?

International Travel After Lockdown (2020)

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a public health concern, I was wondering how safe it was to travel. Being away from home for 10 months was enough motivation to travel as soon as the travel bubble between India and Iraq was established. RT-PCR test report is a MUST document along with the passport and the airline ticket. Face mask is a compulsory accessory during the journey.

Ancient Couple Found in Harappan Grave in Rakhigarhi

Archaeologists have made a first of its kind discovery of a rare couple’s grave — the skeletal remains of a young man and woman, interred with his face turned towards her — has been excavated at the Harappan settlement at Rakhigarhi in Haryana, about 150km from Delhi. Rakhigarhi is the site of a pre-Indus Valley Civilisation settlement going back to about 6500 BCE.

First Night Duty Experience in Hospital

It was just another evening when Dhananjay sir came to my room last evening quite tired from his surgery posting and said that he was quite upset for the plans for the night. Then suddenly something struck my mind and I asked him whether I could join him on his night duty as the next day was our holiday. I didn’t expect that but he accepted my proposal wholeheartedly and even promised me to teach things also. This was my first night experience at the emergency of hospital. It was thrilling for me as I could encounter some live cases there and learned a lot.
