Medibriefcase Medical Check-up Camp

A lack of affordability, accessibility, and awareness surrounding healthcare services throughout India continues to inhibit the penetration of quality medical services, especially in rural regions and tier III urban centres, where the majority of the Indian population lives. In our endeavour to make quality healthcare available at smaller centres and to the deprived sections of society, the Medibriefcase organised a free medical check-up camp at the orphanage — Vatsalya Dham — in the Ramgarh district of the Jharkhand state.

Paper vs. Electronic Medical Record Keeping

Medical records are the document that explains all detail about the patient’s history, clinical findings, diagnostic test results, pre and postoperative care, patient’s progress and medication. If written correctly, notes will support the doctor about the correctness of treatment. A good medical record serves the interest of the medical practitioner as well as his patients. It is very important for the treating doctor to properly document the management of the patient under his care.

Unexplored Wonder: Bagda Valley Near Patratu

On the morning of Monday, 11 July 2022, as I woke up and looked up towards the sky and I felt from inside “Aaj Kuch Toofani Karte Hain!” After some googling for a bike ride in this lovely weather, I found a place called Bagda valley viewpoint. I was not aware of this place as it’s still not on the popular tourist map but some people have been exploring it recently on bikes. The whole trip, the off-road riding and the steep uphill climb, everything is done to reach there was worth it.

Mount Magica: Magical Experience in Ranchi

Mount Magica is a farmhouse located in Tatisilwai, about 25 kilometres away from the Capital of Jharkhand, Ranchi. Overall it was a fun and entertaining experience. The resort charged us on a per-head basis for the entire package and it was all worth it. It is a great getaway for a day near Ranchi where you don’t need to bring anything for a picnic, rather just reach the spot and enjoy the nature, surroundings and in-house games. It was a memorable day and we all loved and really enjoyed the Sunday outing.

Proto Armageddon (Episode 19): End of Amoris

Pacing up and down the floor like drops of sweat formed and ticked down her forehead; Amoris tried to form contact with her other brethren. “FAILED!” rang the notification. “INSUFFICIENT INPUT!” message followed. Home Care Isn’t Home Health Care

Although there are many differences between home care and home health care, both types of care can help older adults stay safe and independent in their homes. Home health care provides “clinical” or “skilled” care by qualified doctors, licensed nurses and therapists whereas homecare provides “non-clinical” or “non-skilled” care by professional caregivers. Home healthcare provides clinical care to help the patient recover, and home care helps with day-to-day caregiving and tasks.

I can’t believe I turned 29!

I turned 29 on October 15. My mind is honestly blown about how quickly time passes. Just like that, my 20’s are getting over. It’s been an eventful decade of my life. I have become a qualified doctor. I began my professional career. And just before I turned 29, I got engaged to a lovely young lady. I might get married before I turn 30! I couldn’t be happier with the way my birthday turned out. I got to spend time with everyone that I love and to have a chat with everyone who called me to greet me. It was truly an amazing time.
