Shanidar 1: Unearthing the Life of a Neanderthal in Kurdistan’s Shanidar Cave

On International Museum Day, I recall my moving visit to the Iraq Museum. Amidst the ancient artifacts, the remains of Neanderthal "Nandy" from the Shanidar Cave, dating back to 60,000-45,000 BCE, left a profound impact. His injuries and intentional burial challenge stereotypes, offering insights into Neanderthal society and our shared human history.

Unveiling DubaiDino: A Spectacular Journey Back to the Age of Dinosaurs

The Dubai Mall is home to a remarkable find from 150-155 million years ago: the colossal DubaiDino. Unearthed in Wyoming in 2008, this Diplodocus Longus skeleton became a global sensation. Standing 25 feet tall and 80 feet long, it's a poignant symbol of ancient life. A major attraction, it offers a tangible link to the past.

An Evening at the Dubai Mall

I had an enchanting evening at Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping mall with over 65 million visitors. The indoor waterfall, DubaiDino fossil, and massive aquarium were captivating. I also witnessed the sunset at Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure, and enjoyed the Dubai Fountain show. Dining at Souk Al Bahar added to the memorable experience. The mall offers diverse attractions, making it more than just a shopping destination.
