World’s Tallest Performing Fountain

Today I want to share with you my amazing experience of visiting the Dubai Fountain, the world’s tallest performing fountain. If you are planning a trip to Dubai, you definitely don’t want to miss this spectacular attraction. At over 900 ft in length – equivalent to over two football pitches – The Dubai Fountain is situated on the 30-acre artificial Burj Khalifa Lake between the Dubai Mall, the Souk Al Bahar, and the Burj Khalifa.

The Dubai Fountain is located on the 30-acre Burj Lake, right next to the iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. The fountain has a unique design with five circles and two arcs, and features over 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors that create stunning visual effects. The fountain shoots water up to 900 feet in the air, which is equivalent to over two football fields. The fountain performs to a variety of different songs, from classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. The show lasts for about five minutes and happens every 30 minutes from 6 pm to 11 pm.

I visited the Dubai Fountain on a weekday evening and it was absolutely breathtaking. I arrived at the Dubai Mall, which is connected to the Burj Khalifa metro station, and walked out to the waterfront promenade. I found a spot near the edge of the lake and waited for the show to start. As soon as the music began, I was mesmerized by the fountain’s movements and colors. The water danced in sync with the rhythm and created beautiful shapes and patterns. The highlight of the show was when the fountain reached its highest point and sprayed a huge jet of water that sparkled in the night sky. It was truly a sight to behold.

Visiting the Dubai Fountain was one of the highlights of my trip to Dubai. It was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to anyone who loves water, music and light shows.
