A charming couple of Scaly-breasted munias has been visiting the writer's window daily since June, possibly with plans to nest. These beautiful, chestnut-chested birds are normally found in flocks and communicate with soft calls. The writer enjoys their company and looks forward to the possibility of them making a home on their balcony. The writer emphasizes their opposition to caging birds and finds joy in observing the couple's daily activities and hopes they raise a family there.
